 Pecan House
Pecan House, is a splendid example of the Victorian house-builders craftsmanship over 100 years ago.

The Grand Staircase in the entrance hall is a noted example of unique Victorian interior trim-work. This wonderful property retains all the original timber embellishments and unique paneled double pocket-doors to the main entertaining rooms and library.

With original timber floors, high decorated ceilings and the architectural feature of huge windows, this period home evokes the real grandeur and style of a Victorian Gentleman's Residence.
At Christmas, Pecan House is a noted feature attraction. Just one block from Pittsburg's historic Main Street, The Prayer Tower, antique shops and restaurants.

We help our guests to wine!

For good wine, Great food, and wonderful ambiance, the Los Pinos Winery is located just 15 minutes south of Pittsburg. As a special low cost service to our guests, we offer liveried chauffer service in our Rolls Royce Silver Spur to the vineyard, with collection at any time (and we mean any time!) for return to your suite. This service is also available for other venues & events. We added this service because we don't want our guests to worry about having a designated driver. Your well-being is our prime concern.

The most welcoming entrance hall in town!

The Grand Entrance Hall. has been variously described as a dramatic and architecturally stunning masterpiece, to a warm and inviting center-piece to a Victorian mansion. Carefully restored, but with the original 100 year old floor timbers, pocket doors and windows, this is the perfect place to sit and relax. A huge corner log-burning stove makes winter a special reason for staying here!

This is the setting for our new English Tea Room. An elegant, setting for the perfect place to meet over English bone china, with delicious teas, crumpets, English scones with clotted cream and jams etc.
Please take a moment to go to our Guest Book and let us know if you think you would welcome this.

Pecan House boasts one of the most comprehensive Law Libraries in Camp County.
How this happened, - and how a family of Brits came to Pittsburg is one of our popular 'Breakfast Stories!'
The library is a favorite area for some of our corporate guests to enjoy privacy and space on the full-size conference table.
